Health

A little report regarding skin tags. I guess they do run in our family. I'm noticing one that has discolored recently, time for a visit to the healthcare this coming week. Mom called yesterday letting me know about her visit from the doctor. She has rhumetoid arthiritis. It is a common thing in the US and a little in her side of the family. It's not a good thing but at least I'm not too worried about it. Just glad to know what it is now.
Everyone needs to have a great 4th of July time off! Go have some fun! We will probably stay home again like last year. I'd like to go to the river at least. Hang in there mom! Love ya!

Helicopter Rides

1500 Feet high in the air and when you look down all you see is what is on the ground. There are different roads going on for miles. Just being able to see what looks like the backyard from our house was unbelievable. Now if you want to be more technical here is more info on the A/C that I did ride up in: http://www.airport-data.com/aircraft/N304PH.html
This one has the colors of a bumblebee. So far it has been my fav copter here at Metro. I am already looking into Flight School! Sounds so neat!
got to run! Almost lunch time!

Grace is Born

Aimee' just gave birth to Grace. She is 7lbs and 29'ounces and 21 inches long! She decided to leave early today to start her maternity leave and was pretty lucky to give birth the day she decides to leave. This is a good day! It happened around 3'oclock.
Other than that it is a hot day at around 94 degrees! We went swimming on the base pool last saturday, we may go again this coming saturday. The pool is pretty big right around 10 foot.
We are doing good, we bought a dinning room table and chairs set. It looks very close to the one Randy's mom had. I'll have to post up a photo. Better run!

The Heart of Worship

Just wanted to write a little bit this morning before work. Sunday during the song, "How great is our God" it was a cold morning at first. But in the middle of the song the Holy Spirit just hit hard, it may have even been God's presence. However you want to percieve it as, the whole group seemed better than before and the guy who sits besides me in a chair pushed me closer to the mic. He knew something had happened but don't know if the others felt anything else. My voice became louder and our voices collided bringing down a church to actually lift their song higher. People lifted their hands and worshiped from their hearts. I felt an actual warmth spark start from the top of my head and ran all the way down the back of the spine. I started to cry in fact. The whole warmth seemed to carry on into the next song and left like a ghostly spirit. Except this time it like went above every one in the building and dispersed above the crowd. This is what it felt like. We could see it in their faces, in their smile and inside.
This is for Jack, our preacher, guitarist, singer and friend. He is leaving the church and moving to New orleans. We will be getting a new guy - Mark. Jack is a great guy, we will miss you.

Emma

I guess it had happened Sunday around 1pm. Emma Birdsong Bassett took in her last breath and said her back felt better, the pain is gone. Over the weekend, for the first time in years her back just started giving her pain. She had hit 100 years old on Christmas day of 2004. She was pretty frail and had seen her days run by so fast. She could tell us grand stories of the days she had lived. I made friends with Emma the first year we moved here. She and Gloria really liked my singing from church and the common visits to their house. Today was pretty heartbreaking to come into work and try to do things, however I found it hard to concentrate since there was not much to do. Gloria told me Emma was rushed to the hospital twice over the weekend. Then on Sunday in the afternoon an anurism hit and she said she felt better, no more pain. She was awake for a short while and then she was gone. Her funeral was held yesterday in Snow Hill, TX.
In fact you can view this place here: http://www.snowhill-tx.com/Page%204%20Graves.htm
I imagine it is harder on Gloria since it was her mother. When I talked with her it looked like she was about to cry and at the same time smiling.

When it is time to say goodbye,
And your feeling down and out.
Remember to look forward
to the things that mattered.
Love conquers all... even in death
God never left us.
He is just there
ready to pick us up,
even when we stumble
down to cry.

Babies

The kids enjoyed the weekend at WaterTown. For a few days my shoulders and back were red and now they are tan. Sherry was also red, her's was worse! Babies is another topic thats been slipping in lately. At this point I should not worry on planning it technically and Randy did keep his promise. So at first I was set on start trying to get pregnant in a couple months, that way the 8-9 months would end somewhere in April or May of next year. I don't like the fact that I really like this new job and when it happens I would need to be home, yea it will happen anyway. However, we are finally getting back on our feet and bringing in some good chunk of change! Honestly, even if I did ask about it, Randy would say the same: Wait at least, at the least.....until we have paid off the credit cards, Sears and Circuit City. Now I'm looking forward to working hard enough to pay them off and just letting God handle it. It will happen soon. Im thinking a fall baby actually. So may try for it around Christmas/Winter time. That would be funny if we tried for it before he left for 7 level school. Well got to run to work!
