How do Rumors really get started?

This one time I played a game at a baby shower about a how rumors get started. The host will think of a simple sentence and pass it to the first person in line. The host can only say it once. Then that person who they told will have to tell it to the next person sitting to them. And so on and so on....At the end the last person has to say it out-loud what was said. Most of the time, the sentence will come out so funny and different from what the original was said.
You could say that I've heard my fair share of rumors and there is one going around my workplace which is really stupid. I just thought it was funny to hear someone say today that "She's a medium of some-sort, into ghosts." That kind of blew me a new fuse. I am not into that kind of thing at all, in fact it was twisted wording, lol.
There is very little interest in ghosty phenomena now. On occasion it's maybe playing with a voice recorder and maybe capturing funky photos and that is it! I would love to find the starter of the trouble maker and poke his eye out. Or at least give him a good talking to. I am sure of and positive I am no freaking Medium! As a Christian, I just can't do that kind of thing, nor can I go around and poke the guy's eye out. But I will not be pushed over either by some stupid rumor. For those who want to say something about someone, please go to the persons mouth and get it from them! Otherwise you will have quite a time dealing with embarassement and other people's stupidity.
Other than that, today has been fine with work. I'm keeping busy updating vendors and such.
It is almost CHRISTMAS! I did pretty up the house some. I have red garland around the poles and made a christmas table and put up a small tree. I did some shopping already but just not done. We are looking at gift sets this year for presents. We have to watch what we soend if we are getting things ready for a move. Better go for now. Byee.

Japanese food!


Shoguns was great and with a friends even better! This was Jill's first time at a Japanese Grill. She loved every little bit especially the teriyaki chicken! Rita enjoyed the food as well! I love the fact we can share moments like this with friends.

Birthday!

My sis told me when brother hit 30 he had a crisis. I hope I don't do the same. Today is just another ordinary day, besides the fact I just turned 29 this morning. What will next year bring? No big plans at all for today. I have to work full hours till 5pm, meaning I'll have to do grocery shopping tomorow. Commisary closes early. So I'll be at home with this sinus head cold while Randy is at work. He is on Mid-shift, which is 3pm to 12pm. He does not like the hours but the work he doesn't mind. It keeps him away from the jerks from day shift.
Tonight is a no brainer, no plans except to pick up house and get it ready for Saturday's Stampin Up party. We have about 8 people showing up, then afterwards we are eating at Shogun's for a birthday dinner at 6pm. So this weekend won't be so bad. I booked tickets for Sunday's 5:10 showing for Harry Potter's 4 movie! I can't wait to see it! I better go and get to work.

In April, Oprah interviewed Maya Angelou on her 70+ birthday. Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older. And, there on television, she said it was "exciting."
Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day...like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first. The audience laughed so hard they cried.
She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

On another note, I've been so moody today. I'm aggravated at things around the house mainly. I blame myself for not thinking if we had all the equipment for our projects. I should have thought about a detailed sander beforehand. We looked in a lot of places today to find and now I'm waiting on an idiot online to answer my question before I buy it from him. I really need a sander within 2-3 days. We have company coming saturday and I'm worrying about this house so much right now. I'm upset that every single room is a mess or a disaster. Yea, we can only do so much in one day but I have a husband that is more concerned with his own project than helping me out around here. If he gets that done he better help me out some when he's done. Sorry I need to get things off my chest.

One busy saturday



Reconstruction of the small bethroom has begun. Today I'm sanding all the old paint of the cabinets and this is taking quite a while. It has 2 layers of paint. I am hoping that by tomorow I'll be able to stain it. With how time consuming it all is, this project will take a few days. When Randy was looking for nails he started complaining and I pretty much told him he leaves things out so much I end up cleaning up. He took it as I had called him a slob bluntly. Looks like we will need to make amends tonight. I was nice though when I went to get a few knobs and holders for the cabinets, I came back with lunch for him.
He too is working outside today building a speaker box. I better not complain, preferably it woul dbe nice if he was working on the bathroom. Lately, I've been feeling that work around the house is my job, mainly picking up and cleaning after both of us. I just aggravated when it seems like he does not pull some of the weight around the house. He does help on occasion but I have to give him a push sometimes, especially if we are going to have company. It is nice to have things finished and feel that accomplishment. For me I have a hard time with patience, always trying to get things done or picked up. Lord, I need patience and strength to keep me cool. Please keep us in your prayers. Thanks everyone!

Bury the Burdens

I finally buried one of my burdens this weekend. After talking with Sis, a lot of questions and answers were made clear. I took the item literally and buried it in the backyard and then said a small prayer. Lord, forgive me.
But it was amazing that I actually felt better afterwards. I don't want to personally have to deal with the situation again or face a temptation that is hard to bury. Literally it helps yourself to see what that item that has become an addiction and to bury it deep in the earth where it belongs. There are way to many things that may consume us that keeps us away from seeing God the way he wants us to be. He wants to be in full control in our lives and us up to us to let him in our hearts.
So when we bury that burden, God is lifting us up and we can feel that burden being lifted off. We may not be able to bury a big tv, lets says its an addiction to a tv maybe the best bet is to cancel the subscription. lol Till next time...

Surgery

After yesterday I really do not want to get my the one left over wisdom tooth pulled. It's fine where its at. My right cheek is the size of a baseball but my left is ok, a little puffy but the other one is huge. they probably had more trouble with it. Besides that was the one tooth that did not cut through.
Jill told me I was so drugged up yesterday I was dancing in her car while she was taking me to get prescriptions. I barely remember being on the base hospital and seeing an old friend there. I remember sleeping a lot, dozing off and on all day. They gave me Lortab again! I was sick yesterday, throwing up and that sort of thing. They even gave me a suporatory. Blah! I don't care I'm sticking to the Penniclin for now. For pain I'm taking advil or Ibuprofen. Today it's just pain. Well better go for now.
